Support our mission. Mālama Hulē’ia needs your generous support to advance our mission. We’ve made significant progress over the past four years, but there’s still a lot of work to be done⏤from restoring the original rock wall to expanding our environmental education programs.

Volunteer

Participate in our progress. Come get your hands dirty with us! Every 3rd Saturday morning we host community workdays down at Alakoko fishpond. This is an opportunity to volunteer to do conservation work, learn about the history and importance of this ‘aina (land), and celebrate progress made by sharing a meal together.

REGISTER for our next community workday event (note: volunteer registration opens one week prior⏤we’ll email you a reminder when it’s time to register). 

SIGN our online waiver prior to volunteering with Mālama Hulē’ia (you only need to do this the first time).

      The workdays begin at 8am, go until noon and then lunch is served. Please let us know if you plan to attend so we can get a headcount for lunch. You can RSVP to info@malamahuleia.org

  1. Our 4th grade class at Kilauea School is interested in visiting and volunteering. Are you doing field trips for schools at this time? Mahalo, Chris Skabo

  2. Hi do you have any work days last 2 weeks of July. We will be visiting and would love to help out. We are a group of 4 all over 17. Thanks!
