In our on-going work to clear the land of red mangrove at our demonstration site, we always can use more helping hands. While all of the mangrove trees have already been cut down, much work remains to remove the debris of roots and branches to the trash bin or chipper and to replant the area with native vegetation. If you can lend a hand, our work will go faster and we will be able to move from the Pūali Stream to the Hulē‘ia River. Our current work site is next to the Niumalu Beach Park. Please sign in there if you can help on one of our Community Work Days.
See our Mangrove Clearing Schedule and Contacts in the column on the right. Start times are normally at 8:30 AM.
