Sunday 3/17 we had a core gang of seven testing equipment and techniques for cutting the mangrove. We managed to cut down a few trees and cleared a small area near the showers. We also hauled off to the transfer station two truckloads of human opala. Mahalo to Pomai and her mom for supplying enough lunch for an army, and to Amber for delivering the food and drinks. Mahalo to Buddy Keala, Mason Chock, Jan Tenbruggencate, Garfield McCullen, Kawika and Malia Rogers, and Steve Yee for all the hard work. It was a good start on the actual eradication work.
